Carly Harber was born in Redlands, California and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Communications, a minor in Sociology.
In 2015, she moved to Southern Illinois to be the Finance Director for Congressman Mike Bost’s Reelection campaign in the 12th District. Her work ethic, attention to detail and ability to “connect” with donors and volunteers alike caught the attention of KAP principle Ted Prill, who was the General Consultant on the race. Those were the exact qualities he was looking for in selecting KAP Strategies new Account Executive where she writes compelling voter contact mail copy, works with their graphic designers, takes phone calls and answers emails from campaign managers, finance directors at all hours of the day and night. She takes pride in the fact that everything she writes, everything KAP designs is fresh, new, creative, distinctive, and attention-getting. “We’re small and personalized,” she says about her firm, “and our clients get us. That means every phone call and email gets answered promptly and if there’s fast-breaking campaign news and that means a piece must be written at 10 PM, we do it.”
Carly loves Austin, kayaking and tubing down the Rio Grande River, the Great Outdoors, traveling the country to visit her family, helping her clients during “crunch time” and winning elections.
