Dustin started his journey in politics in 2014 as a volunteer for then State Representative Mike Bost’s campaign for Congress before being promoted to Field Director and later Political Director. Four years later, he led Congressman Mike Bost’s successful re-election effort as Campaign Manager in a nationally targeted race, and has since managed numerous other high-profile races including the most expensive House of Delegates race in Virginia history.
In addition to being a seasoned campaign manager, Dustin has brought his experience to work for dozens of clients across the country as a general, digital, and direct mail consultant. After years of traveling the country and managing races, Dustin fell in love with Arizona and finally made the state his home in 2021.
Having enjoyed his experience working with KAP Strategies on a number of efforts over the years, he joined the team as Senior Vice President in 2021 to help KAP expand it’s operations in the West.
When he’s not working, Dustin enjoys hiking and reading non-fiction. He particularly enjoys books about advertising, business, leadership, marketing, philosophy, politics, and strategy. His all-time favorite books are Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink, the 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, Conscience of a Conservative by Barry Goldwater, Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday, the Art of War by Sun Tzu, and the Signal and the Noise by Nate Silver.
